Bernard Dombrosky
December 20, 1944
August 3, 2021
On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, beloved husband of 56 years to Elke M. Dombrosky; loving father of Bernard (Kelly) Dombrosky, Jr. and Dana (John) Milletary; brother of Bonnie (late Thomas J. Conley, Jr. and late T.F. Eriksen) Eriksen, Dave, Jim (Susan) and Bob (Angie) Dombrosky and the late Daniel (Rena survives) Dombrosky; proud grandfather of Cory, Gianna, Mathea and Connor.
Bernie was an amazing husband and father. His work ethic and drive to provide for his family was beyond admirable. He was proud of his many accomplishments, but most of all he was proud of his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family. Over the years he enjoyed family vacations, family gatherings at Slippery Rock, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his four grandchildren. His hobbies included bocce ball at the Beadling Sports Club and golf where he taught and influenced two generations of golfers (son, grandson) to play and enjoy the game. He was also an avid sports fan where it was common to find him watching the Steelers, Penguins, Pitt football or golf on the weekends. To say Bernie was loved would be an understatement - and to say he will be missed would be an even greater understatement. He was always there for family and friends. We are beyond heartbroken and will forever love you Bernie… until we see you again. ❤️
