On Sunday, March 29, 2020. Husband of the late Anna Mae Cartier; son of the late Simeon and Lucie Cartier; loving father of Roy (Gwen), Lynn, Keith (Karen) Cartier, Melissa (Frank) Kratz, and Renee (Marty) Dugan; brother of Carol Schexnayder, Allan Cartier, and the late Roy Cartier; also survived by 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Phil was a veteran of the Korean War and a longtime principal in the Chartiers Valley School District.

As per CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, a private family visitation will be held. Phil will be laid to rest next to his wife of 58 years, Anna Mae, in Resurrection Cemetery.
